The studio is equipped with a desk – useful for getting rid of some emails behind the laptop – and a king-size bed (180x200 cm). Wake up with a cup of tea and breakfast - because thanks to the private pantry with refrigerator, you can easily have it available in your room.

This room of 27 m2 is located on the side of the hotel. Furthermore: coffee and tea-making facilities, a mini fridge, and a smart TV (with Netflix application, login with your own account).

Frequently asked questions

For general inquiries, we are available by phone from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
For staying guests, we are always available by phone.

  • Check-in on the day of arrival is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is until 11:00 AM.
    Based on availability, early check-in is possible from 1:00 PM (€30) and/or late check-out until 1:00 PM (€30).

  • Yes, staff is available on site between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on most days. Outside these hours, we are always available by phone for our staying guests.

  • Hotel By Friso has limited parking available on its premises. The cost for hotel guests is €22.50 per night, and reservations are required. Parking spaces can be booked directly when making a reservation. Don’t see the option? Then the parking lot is fully booked for your desired dates.

    Alternatives:

    • Street parking is available opposite the hotel. Costs are €2.60 per hour between 10:00 AM and midnight; parking is free during other hours.

    • Free parking on weekends, zone 1583, Koniginnegracht, near the Madurodam tram stop. Free between Friday 5:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM, paid during other hours. Two tram stops with line 9 or a 10-minute walk.

  • On the day of arrival at 3:00 PM, you will receive the digital key via email and SMS. When you open the link, two sliders will be visible—one for the front door and one for your room door. Slide the arrow on your screen from left to right, and the door will unlock. A keycard will be ready in your room for use during the rest of your stay.

  • By Friso works with Expect Me, which allows guests to select their exact room based on personal preferences for a small fee.
    If you don’t select a room, you will simply be assigned one within the category you booked. Direct bookers receive their Expect Me link in the confirmation e-mail and during online check-in. Guests who book via online travel agencies (OTAs) receive the link during online check-in.

  • Yes, you can store your luggage in our designated storage area. The reception is available to assist you between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Outside of reception hours, you can call us for instructions.

  • Yes, a direct reservation is always cheaper. If you see a lower price elsewhere, please contact us.

  • By Friso does not serve breakfast.

    You are welcome to arrange your own breakfast. All rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, cutlery, and dishes.

    On request, a delivered breakfast from our partner Anne&Max can be arranged for €18.50 per person per day. Please note that a minimum order of 5 breakfasts is required. The breakfast includes fresh orange juice, various breads, a boiled egg, Greek yogurt with granola, sweet and savory toppings, and banana bread. Breakfast will be delivered to your room by 9:00 AM.

  • It is a 30-minute walk to the center of The Hague.
